JYJ’s Itsudatte Kimini is one of those special songs that are graced with not one music video, but two. That’s right, another PV for JYJ’s title track in upcoming mini-album The… has just been released. While the first one featured concert footage of the trio preforming the said song, this one offers a before the scenes angle of how their album came to be. And the audio for this one is in pure, glorious HQ. Score!

I love how emotional they are, even when recording in the studio. At some point, they’re so close to the microphone, that they’re practically kissing it and it tugs on my heartstrings to see them singing with scrunched eyes and a pained facial expression. In fact, I’m kind of glad Jaejoong spared me from that by wearing sunglasses, otherwise this music video might make me even more teary-eyed.

I love, love, love that Yoochun has a picture of DBSK as his wallpaper. It’s also nice to see the boys laugh and interact with each other–that really managed to make me smile.

The ending is just…really emotional. They’ve all been through so much since they’ve first debuted and that’s why I assume they ended the video with lots of somber shots of the trio wistfully staring into the distance. The use of black and white film also seemed to enhance the melancholic feel of the PV, but hey, at least Junsu’s blond hair doesn’t show up as much. (Just kidding.) But I thought it was a really nice twist to have them all hold Jaejoong’s microphone during the last few seconds. It seems like a promise somehow, that they’ll stick together and continue doing what they love to do despite the obstacles.

To avoid ending this post on a slight sad, wistful note as well…did anyone else catch the rather humorous typo?

It’s hard to watch DBSK being split in two, but we’d “butter make it through the loneliness” (and sadness). Yep.
