Korean-born American competitive eater Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas has taken first place at the 9th annual National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York. She managed to put away 181 wings (4.86 lbs) in 12 minutes, which is also a new record that she now holds.

One of the most interesting things about her that makes her such a wonder to be a competitive eater (ranked 5th in the US, 6th in the world!) is how tiny she is - only 5′ tall, 105 pounds.
