Epik High’s Tablo has been under a lot of fire lately due to the pressure of an internet cafe, TaJinYo. The group, which has over 100,000 members, claims that the Korean rapper has been lying about his graduation from the prestigious Standford University in the United States. Well, Tablo and a film crew recently visited Standford personally to record an MBC segment that would hopefully bring some light to this issue.
A teaser to the segment, entitled Tablo Goes to Standford, was recently released, and in it shows a very physically and emotionally tired Tablo. In one scene, he even breaks out in tears, saying that, “It’s not that they don’t believe me. They just don’t want to believe me.” In another short clip, a representative from TaJinYo was quoted as saying, “He’s never even been admitted to the school. To say that he graduated Stanford is simply out of the question.”
I don’t even know what to think anymore. This is just too much. Not only has his group been temporarily put on hiatus, but he is also a new father to a baby girl! He should be focusing on taking care of his daughter and not have to deal with trash like this. I understand that people want the truth revealed, but is it really the right thing to do when you’re causing so much emotional pain to another human being? Tablo has a long history of depression, and I’d hate to see what would happen if this takes a turn for the worse.
The MBC segment will air on October 1st.
