The seventh episode of Playful Kiss, which was broadcasted on the 22nd, apparently received a viewer rating of 6.3%, meaning it increased substantially by 3.3% from last time.

The reason for the increase was due to the end of the King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo drama series and My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox being replaced by a movie just for this week. Therefore, it was just Playful Kiss and random films competing against each other.

The sad thing is that the movies still received double the ratings than Playful Kiss.

I am not sure why the ratings are not increasing dramatically because since King of Baking (which received 50% on the their final episode) is no longer being aired, Playful Kiss should have at least obtained some of those high ratings. People must have something against this particular drama because I personally think it’s becoming more exciting and fun to watch. Let’s hope it gets better soon.
