One of the members of KPOP idol group T-ara, So Yeon, will make her acting debut through a movie called “Mama, Don’t Cry.” So Yeon will play a teenager who tries to help her mother achieve her dreams. The movie is scheduled to start filming this coming up winter.

T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media said, “So Yeon will be making her first appearance in movies following after Ji Yeon and Eun Jung. SoYyeon now will be a singer and an actor, so please anticipate.”

Her fellow members are already experienced actors. Ji Yeon was in “God of Study” and “Death Bell 2.” Eun Jung was in “Coffee House” and will be in a new movie called “White.” Hyomin, on the other hand, recently finished shooting for her drama “My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox.”

In addition to participating in a new movie, So Yeon and rest of T-ara members are planning on coming back to the music scene with their second album.

Congratulations So Yeon! It’s great to see all the members of T-ara doing something more than just singing and dancing. Expanding your horizon to something other than your main job is always a plus since you can find out what you are good at. One thing I am worried about is her schedule conflict between T-ara’s second album and the movie. I hope everything works out in the end.
