This episode of My Girlfriend is a Nine Tailed Fox left me completely shocked. For me, this episode probably contained the biggest obstacles that Miho and Dae Woong have ever had to face. There were also a lot of misunderstandings and lies in this episode which can only lead to more conflicts. I’ll stop my ramblings now so that you guys can check out the highlights below: (WARNING: SPOILER ALERT)

After taking the bead from Dae Woong, Miho asks him if he is fine and he says yes but only a moment later he faints.

Dae Woong is rushed to the hospital. Doon Joo, who is also at the hospital, tells Miho that he doesnt know what will happen to De Woong and that everything will depend on how much longer Dae Woong originally had to live. Dae Woong wake up and tells Doon Joo to leave.

Dae Woong says they should postpone the trip to China since he wants to make sure the bead is safe. Dae Woong’s Grandfather, Aunt, and Byung Soo overhear this and assume the bead is a baby that they are going to have.

Grandpa insists Miho have a check up to see if she has a baby so Dae Woong lies and says that they really are going to have a baby.

Doon Joo tells Hye In that Miho has now took half of Dae Woong’s life.

Grandpa insists that Miho stay in the house because he is afraid something might happen to the “baby” while Dae Woong is in China.

Miho tells Dae Woong that there shall be no mating until the 100 days are over since she doesn’t want him to hurt himself even more. Dae Woong says that he never even had those thoughts and Miho tells him that he will just have to sleep in another room so that she can restrain herself.

Miho starts to feel a bit dizzy and nauseous that night.

Hye In, who is out drinking with Sun Nyeo and Byung Soo, says she can’t stand it any longer and immediately texts Min Sook.In her text she says to watch over Miho carefully. She also included the picture of Miho’s tails.

While Miho is asleep something comes over her and she goes to Dae Woong and demands him to give her the tails he took from her. He tricks her by giving her a fox coat.

Miho falls asleep so Dae Woong takes her to her bed. She wakes up and tells him that they have to control themselves. Dae Woong asks Miho if she remembers what she did and she says she was sleeping. Dae Woong says it’s okay cause he’ll watch over her.

The next morning Miho once again becomes possessed.

Dae Woong goes to see Doon Joo since he was worried about about Miho. Doon Joo tells him that he doesn’t know what may happen to her since she now has the Gumiho’s ki , a humans ki and also Doon Joo’s Phantom blood within her.

Dae Woong tells his grandfather that Miho was not actually pregnant.

Dae Woong then asks Seo Nyeo if he can continue to stay at the action school to which she replies yes. Miho begins feeling guilty that Dae Woong’s friends, his grandfather, and the director are all mad at him.

Doon Joo tells Dae Woong that at night if Miho’s 5th tail disappears then she will end up dying but if his blood stops the tail from disappearing then she will be safe.

That Night Miho’s tail disappears.

Doon Joo tells Dae Woong that in order to keep Miho from dying he must leave her side.

Dae Woong takes Miho out the next day and tells her that she is just a burden and takes her to Doon Joo so that from then on she can live with him.

Byung Soo helps Dae Woong home since Dae Woong is very drunk. Miho returns home to see Dae Woong in that state so Byung Soo tells her to please stay by his side.

When Dae Woong wakes up and sees Miho he leaves the house. Miho trys to stop him but he only says that whenever he looks at her anymore all he sees is a monster.

A month later, Dae Woong returns back from filming in China.

Dae Woong goes and see’s Doon Joo’s old vet shop only to see that it has closed down. He believes that Doon Joo and Miho are now together and happy.

This ending made me REALLY depressed. I mean, Miho and Dae Woong have had so many up and downs in their relationships that weren’t even needed. I just get this feeling that Doon Joo completly lied to Dae Woong towards the end of the episode. I guess lying was the only way Doon Joo thought he could get Miho to stay by his side. I really hope theta Miho and Dae Woong will able to settle things and get together again. I can’t believe that next week the last two episodes are airing! I definitely won’t wanna miss that.
