It’s been a day since SHINee’s Junghyun admitted to be dating actress Shin Se Kyung, and some Junghyun fans have already gone out of their way to tear her down. A day! Really? This is just ridiculous. She has closed her Cyworld account and become a worldwide trending topic on twitter, causing a debate among fans and anti-fans.

I was happy to hear that a lot of people were leaving mature, respectful comments to her, wishing them happiness. But that hasn’t stopped others from bashing her with hate, nothing but insults and harsh words.

If you are truly a fan of Junghyun, wouldn’t you want him to be happy? These people must have thought either they had a chance with him, or now that he has a girlfriend, fantasizing about being with him is no longer the same. If you really like him in that way, it would be hard hearing news about him with another. But knowing he’s found happiness, isn’t that something we should all respect? This question is rhetorical, because this answer should be obvious. YES!

Posting hateful comments, they are trying to take Shin Se Kyung out of the picture. But do they realize that they are also hurting Junghyun? Some “fans” have even turned against Junghyun! If that is the case, they weren’t even real fans to begin with.

We are all human, and should be treated with respect and kindness! Just because these two are constantly in the spotlight doesn’t mean we know them! Imagine a couple thousand strangers sending you hate mail for dating so-in-so, people you have never met in your life! How would that make you feel? Terrible, you would think “What did I do to deserve this?” Now how would that make so-in-so feel? Terrible.

Why do people forget the importance of one another. These two have dedicated their lives to entertaining us, and in return we treat them like people we think we can control?! This is not how fans should be. Outside of these songs, movies, and concerts we see them at, they DO have their own lives. Lets let them live it, okay?
