SNSD are basking in the fame brought upon from recent chart topping moments and the release of their full 5-track EP, “Hoot.” One song in particular titled “Mistake” is sparking interest among listeners, as it was revealed to be a cover song.

“Mistake” off of SNSD’s latest mini-album is a cover of “Watch Me Over” by Korean-American singer-songwriter Jenny Hyun, who lives in Los Angeles.

Not surprisingly, SNSD’s cover was composed by Jean Na, who also composed Hyori’s “Get 2 Know” and Cheryl Yie, who wrote the lyrics to “Watch Me Over,” and it was arranged by Kenzie.
