The fifth leg of the Amazing Race has now aired, and eight teams remain. Missed the episode? No matter, continue on reading for a full break down of what happened last Sunday.

Coming in first last week, Nat and Kat were the first to head out into the fifth leg. Getting to their first clue they decided to take the Fast Forward (meaning this is the only challenge they have to complete this leg) entitled, A Christmas Tradition. Where the two of them would have to partake in a traditional Norwegian meal, they both had to eat an entire sheep’s head! Kat, who is a 22-year strong vegetarian, struggled with this one. But that didn’t stop them from completing it and finishing in first again!

Since Nat and Kat took the Fast Forward, that meant no one else could take it, and they would have to participate in the other two challenges. Which set Nick and Vicki a little back on time; them being the only others who tried to go to the Fast Forward.

The first challenge one team member had to propel from a bridge down to the water to signal a boat, where they receive their next clue. Then they had to climb all the way up to the top. Team Jumba leading the race, Kevin is the first to finish. Claire really struggled with this task, but still was able to finish. She kind of had no choice, she was hanging off a bridge for crying out loud!

The second challenge both members had to either ride a bike or travel on a boat. The choices were split pretty much half and half. On boat you had to direct the driver to the island on the map, then climb up the hill to a house; delivering a fish and a chainsaw to the owner. In bikes you had to travel through a rocky and slippery path up the mountain.

In this leg the volleyball girls, Katie and Rachel, really fell far behind, which ended up costing them the race.

Now I know the majority of you must be Jumba biased. But is there anyone on Ningin who is voting for another team? Obviously I am voting for Team Jumba, but if I were to choose another team I would pick Nat and Kat. What about you guys?
