SHINee recently performed their follow up single “Hello” on Arirang TV’s The M-Wave. While everything was on point as usual, a pop up on the screen, describing SHINee in a nut shell, failed to post their accurate debut date. Typo?

While I can vouch for the sound quality of this performance and wonderful set up of the stage, I’m not so sure I can trust their researching skills. Watch below, right at 24 seconds, as a pop up reads:

SHINee debuted as a Kpop idol group in 2005…” Now, last time I checked, SHINee debuted in 2008, while Super Junior in 2005. Oopsies!

And while we’re on the topic of inaccuracy, they also failed to nail Co-Ed’s debut, saying the group debuted in December 2009. Sounds like people aren’t doing their homework!
