Idol group SNSD have made another great milestone, this time the girls have made history on Oricon as the first foreign girl group to make it in the ‘Top 3 singles‘ ranking since 1980.

SNSD’s has made it to #1 on the Oricon Single chart, the Oricon DVD Music Chart and on all Korean Digital Charts. SNSD’s Japanese Gee became #1 on the same day Hoot became #1 on Korean charts. Another mathematical phenomenon, 10/26, 1+0+2+6 = 9. Also, 7 Korean charts + 2 Japanese charts = 9.

SNSD’s Gee is also currently 1st on iTunes Japan, on Japanese music site Musico, and on mobile site recochoku.

SNSD definitely have had a huge amount of success in their career, hopefully it won’t just stop here. With the upcoming release of their ‘Hoot’ mini-album, I wonder what other great things will happen.
