BoA will be making her acting debut soon and labelmate (fellow SME members) SHINee will support her by making a surprise cameo in the SBS drama Athena: Goddess of War.

BoA’s role is that of Asia’s number 1 singer (not unlike her real-life position!) and actor Jung Woosung is there to protect her. The setting is taking place somewhere BoA should be all too familiar with now- SM Entertainment’s company building. The shooting with SHINee is in place to create a sense of authenticity to the drama.

A representative of Taewon Entertainment, who are producing the drama, said, “We focused on capturing BoA’s natural image from everyday life. With SHINee’s appearance, the scene became more realistic.”

Is anybody else excited for December where you will be able to watch well-known actors such as Jung Woosung, Cha Seungwon, Soo Ae, Lee Jia acting alongside the confirmed SM members: BoA, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon and SHINee?
