Though the boys are no longer gracing New York (or the US for that matter) with their presence, it seems as though JYJ left us something to remember them by in the city–two amazing performances of Ayyy Girl and Empty at Billboard’s studio, as well as a short interview that showcases how much better Yoochun’s English has gotten.

I’m a little upset that the boys recorded this when they were sick (or at least, Yoochun and Jaejoong definitely were). I have to say, it was incredibly heartwarming to watch and listen to Junsu cover for some of Jaejoong’s lines after Yoochun’s bridge (”Your heart is empty, empty, empty/Your heart is empty, empty, empty”)? It’s too bad they couldn’t blow up the room with the full intensity of their vocals, but I believe that there will be a next time, so…there’s always next time! Other than that, loving the ad-libs and harmonization and the boys carried themselves extremely well despite not being at full health.
