It was reported last month that Mike He will star in upcoming Taiwanese drama Mei Yue Jia You with Cyndi Wang, and now he is also in preparation for another drama as well! Well, I say the more the merrier when it comes to Mike He! Being that he is my all-time favorite actor, I just can’t get enough! But in this case I would say that I got a little too much. A trailer has now been unveiled for his newest drama, Sunny Happiness, and what I mean by being too much is that the trailer is thirty minutes long!

Hearing about this drama for the first time, how would you like to know all the characters, all their situations, and the entire plot from beginning to end, before it even airs? Yeah, I would say no too. After watching this trailer (more like a drama recap), I would say that there are no surprises left, and if there are, it must have been tough for them not to through in every detail that comes with this show!

Now dramas are quickly becoming more and more predictable. I really hate watching trailers because they always give away too much in my preference, but now it doesn’t matter, as soon as it begins I can tell how the story will go. That is why I decided to watch the entire thing, even after my jaw dropped to the floor from all the information they were giving away. So I will also leave this decision to you, and I will tell you, it really did feel like watching the entire drama in a recap!

For those of you who don’t want to spoiler this drama and only want a short preview, I recommend watching the last video, for it just shows an overview of clips, it doesn’t spoil anything, it’s just put to music, almost like an intro, it’s really quite cute, but make sure you start it at 0:12 if you don’t want to give away anything.

When I first started watching it I could name at least five other dramas that had a similar plot, but then…wait, Mike He’s a father? The story gets a little confusing, there are about three different love triangles, and lots of different motives in all of them. Janine Chang plays a poor girl, Fang Yong Yong, who hates the rich snob she works for, Mike He, who plays the role of Xiang Yun Jie, a CEO. He got a divorce eight years ago because his wife wanted to have an abortion and he wanted to raise a child, but she really tricked him and kept the baby after he left. Finding out that he has a son, Xiang Yun Jie wants nothing more than to spend time with him, and forms a love contract with Fang Yong Yong to help win full custody over his son.

But other situations form in the background where his brother is now being made fun of for his elder brother’s decisions. While trying to get to the bottom of Yun Jie’s relationship, he ends up falling for his “new wife” as well, but wait…he has a girlfriend! The plot thickens. There seems to be endless twists and plots, that is why I was a little disappointed that they gave so much away. How is this going to boost ratings? And believe me, I didn’t even cover half of it.

But really, if you don’t mind spoilers, then go ahead and watch the trailer! I certainly enjoyed it, and I still plan on watching the drama when it comes out. Which by the way is predicted for February of next year. Well, duh. Of course I’m still going to watch it…it’s Mike He!

If you have trouble seeing the first video click here to watch it on YouTube. And yes, there are subtitles.

What do you guys think, planning on watching it? And for those of you that watched the whole trailer, what do you think about the plot?
