Continuing our long line of creative and unique giveaway ideas, allow me to introduce the Mixr Reward Center. In short, it’s yet another way to earn free stuff on Ningin and the other sites in the Mixr network. However, it’s much more than that. It’s a new system of giveaway that is points-based which offers us numerous flexibilities in coming up with new and exciting contests as well as allowing you guys to pick and choose the exact prize that you want. What this means for you is two things:

1. More contests with more winners.
2. You get to select the prizes that you want instead of winning a random one.

Get used to the term Reward Points (RPs) around here. You’ll starting seeing it a lot. If you haven’t already, check out the Reward Center (RC) where you can spend your RPs. Go ahead, I’ll wait.


We have a lot of stuff in our RC already and we’ll constantly be adding more on a regular basis.

We’ll also be changing up a lot of our contests, like our Weekly EXP contest. Instead of one winner each week, we’ll now have 10. The top 10 users of each week win will Reward Points in the following breakdown:

1st - 400
2nd - 250
3rd - 150
4th - 50
5th - 50
6th - 20
7th - 20
8th - 20
9th - 20
10th - 20

See what I mean about more winners? There’s going to be a lot of new types of contests and things to do that will earn you RPs. At the time of this writing, not all of them have been implemented yet. Here are some that I can talk about:

-There’s the Weekly EXP prize that I mentioned above.
-Some MLG matches will offer RPs.
-Submitting news and tip links via our tip system. (easiest)
-Entering contests or participating in promotions that give out RPs.
-Via various one-off events and specials.

You can earn RPs from actions across all our sites. Soon, all the sites in the Mixr network will have a Reward Center with prizes specific to their area of coverage.

Those of you that already have Reward Points from previous events will have your old RPs transferred into the new system. For most of you, this should have been done already.
