Although solo artist Zia is slated to release her new mini-album in December, she deigned it appropriate to release one of the new tracks set to appear on it early (and boy, am I glad she did). Titled What Month, What Day, What Time, the track just so happens to be a collaboration with Mighty Mouth–even better. Trust me, it’s hard to go wrong with charismatic rapping and gorgeous vocals.

After listening to this track, I couldn’t agree more with her agency, Loen Entertainment, which asserted that “Zia’s emotions along with Mighty Mouth’s charms will make up a great love song that will be a big gift to music fans this coming winter.” It certainly managed to lift up my spirits–I like the call and response between Zia and Mighty Mouth and everything about the song is just so…upbeat! Maybe it has something to do with the somewhat fast-paced melody, but I have a feeling that I can also attribute it to the sheer energy that Zia and Mighty Mouth exude when delivering their lines. (It’s pretty enough that I’ll forgive them for the extremely uninspired album cover).
