The end of the year is fast approaching, and Oricon has tabulated the numbers for their 2010 best-selling comic ranking. Coming in first place: One Piece! Coming in second place: One Piece! Wait… what?

That’s right! The highly popular Japanese manga One Piece has taken not one, not two, not three, not four but five spots on the sales ranking! The detailed breakdown, showing how many copies were sold, is below:

1. One Piece #59 (2.594 million)
2. One Piece #57 (2.579 million
3. One Piece #58 (2.557 million)
4. One Piece #60 (2.492 million)
5. One Piece #56 (2.480 million)

Overall, the manga series has sold over 30 million copies, which is double what was sold last year. To date, the manga has sold over 200 million copies since its debut in 1997! That’s a lot of manga! I should really start getting into One Piece…
