KBS has finally confirmed that JYJ will indeed be performing at their 2010 Drama Awards on December 31, which will mark their first broadcast appearance in a very long while. After much negotiation, it has been decided that Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong will perform one song and the trio is set to showcase their gorgeous vocals with a performance of Found You (or Chajatta), a song from the OST of Yoochun’s debut drama, Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

KBS is now officially my favorite channel. Hopefully other channels (and radios) will follow its lead, because frankly, the whole “JYJ can’t be publicly broadcasted due to their ongoing dispute with SM Entertainment” spiel is getting really old and tiring. I understand that the entertainment companies are trying to run a business and that they benefit immensely from using JYJ as an example, but censorship like this is just…wrong. All the boys want to do is sing onstage in their native country–there’s nothing wrong with that.

Congrats to the boys and major thanks to KBS for inviting them to perform. I’m super excited for their performance at the 2010 Drama Awards!
