As part of the Ningin 2010 End of the Year Awards, we present you with the award for Best Live Performance by a Group or Duo.

Beast- Shock
I am not one of Beast’s biggest fans at all, but I’ve got admit that this performance was pretty explosive. The lights, the stage, the dance all came together to create a perfect-sync performance. It didn’t leave me in shock, it just blew me away!

4Minute- HuH
4Minute stole the spotlight with their awesome dance and catchy song. What does it for me is that they manage to be vocally stable and gave their everything into the performance- in those high heels! My eyes opened wide at the sight of them and I know I would never be able to walk let alone dance so well in those heels.

2AM- You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls
2AM’s comeback left me with only two words to utter: simply amazing. This song knows how to send chills down my spine with the impressive vocals from the angels that are 2AM. The performance really makes me feel how underrated 2AM really are- I mean, they are not even moving because they are letting their voices do all the work!

miss A- Bad Girl Good Girl
I’ve got to give it to miss A- they pulled of their Music Bank debut stage very well. I was pretty skeptical about this girl group at first- 2 Chinese and 2 Korean members in one rookie group made me excited but very nervous for how it would go. But their debut stage set all my fears aside- apparently the Korean pronunciation of Jia and Fei are very good and they managed to dance in impressive sync.

SHINee- Lucifer
SHINee’s Lucifer was one of the songs that stuck with me all through the summer of 2010. Their performances always made the end of my summer weeks- they had everything- the vocals, the stage and the challenging dance all at the same time. What’s special about this performance is that it was the first Inkigayo stage where Minho returned and actually danced with his fellow members after being unable to because he was recovering from an injury. I know that many fans were yearning for Minho’s return to the stage and that’s why this particular performance is extra special.

WINNER: The performance which struck me as the best live performance has got to be SHINee- Lucifer- it had the complete set of what I want to see from a live performance, faultless vocals and an entertaining dance. I really cannot fault it if I’m honest.

I agree with Lucifer; they delivered it all. My bias is Miss A and I was obsessed with HuH for a while. But Lucifer is definitely more demanding and the style of the song puts it on another level.. BGGG and HuH needs charisma, while Lucifer needs edge. Vocals required more energy and the choreography was much harder. Loved it ♥
