Through a press release, YG Entertainment, who headed the public charity campaign “WITH” have announced that they have donated over 180 million won to charity this year. The sales of albums, mobile music, concerts as well as other merchandise all contributed to the massive figure of 184 million won donated.

Out of the total, 100 million won was donated as scholarship to Holt International Children’s Service Seoul and 79 million went towards helping children suffering from rare diseases. The 5 million won remaining went towards the purchase of 10,000 coal briquettes for use of warming households - the coal briquettes were delivered by artists such as Se7en, Big Bang, Gummy and Sean to over 500 households in need.

YG announced in their press released, “As small as our efforts is, we still hope this may be of some help to people spending a warm winter. The sum may not be much compared to the love we received from our fans but we will continue to work harder to improve ourselves and share that love.”

Not only does YG have some very talented employees, they have very warm hearts too.
