BEAST’s Yoseob attended the press conference for the “Gwanghwamun Sonata” musical at the Seoul Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom last January 24th.
During the press conference he revealed that at first he was very hesitant in taking the cast offer for the musical because when his company asked if he knew any song composed by Lee Young Hoon, he realized that he did not know anything. He was also asked if he knew the song “Red Sunset“, but only said that he heard about it. They later on told him that he could be part of the cast for the “Gwanghwamun Sonata” musical but became very worried because he did not know any songs composed by Lee Young Hoon.
Yoseob later on learned more about the composer and heard more things about senior Lee Moon Sae and director Lee Jina. He then decided that he wanted to join the musical and will be working hard to not cause any hard during the musical.
Yoseob will be playing as “Jiyoung” as the son of the two leading roles in the musical. Yoseob and Heo Gyu will be sharing the same character. Director Lee Jina said that Yoseob will fit Jiyoung’s character more because he is somewhat the same age with him but because of Heo Gyu’s young look he will be able to act as the 21 year old, Jiyoung.
