It’s been about 3 weeks since we started the Mixr Legions Beta Test and it seems like people had a lot of fun. The goal of the test was to iron out potential bugs as well as see how you guys use the feature and adjust the scoring system accordingly. Those goals have been more or less met. We are going to have at least one more Beta Test session as a couple more new add-ons to Mixr Legions weren’t finished at the time of the first test start. To those that have participated, I’m hoping you take a bit of time answer some survey questions.
Questions:
1. What was your favorite thing about Mixr Legions?
2. What did you NOT like about Mixr Legions?
3. What did you find confusing about Mixr Legions?
4. Did you find it hard to earn Legion Points?
5. Would you have done anything differently if you were to participate this test again from the beginning?
6. Did you get a chance to interact with your teammates and learn about them personally?
7. Would you be interested in being a Legion General for future matches?
8. The team size is currently at 10. Would you like the team sizes to be larger or smaller and why?
Other notes:
Once the Mixr Legion test session is over, you will no longer have access to the Mystery Box. So use it while you can for a chance to earn Reward Points.
Ignore the Territories link for now. It won’t work for you. Territories is something we’ll get to for the next Legion match.
The scoring for the next Mixr Legions test will change somewhat significantly. There will be less emphasis on Daily Domination. It seems that some of you were getting burned out by trying to score points via commenting. That’s actually not one of the goals for us. We rather you help us create content via Link Submissions and Voices posts. With that said, EXP will play a bigger role in the amount of gold you get each day.
The Mystery Box seems a bit generous with Legion Points. The rate of getting them will be lowered somewhat, but the amount of gold winnings will go up. You’ll be using more gold in the next test…a lot more gold.
This first iteration of Mixr Legions did not have much emphasis on strategy beyond dividing websites up among your teammates. That is one of the main things that will change for the next go around. The addition of Territories will go a long way in helping that.
We’ll be giving out more Reward Points for winning a Mixr Legions session and to multiple teams, not just the first place team.
