The popularity he received from the internet propelled Xi Li Ge into stardom. Since the photo spread like rapid fire online, he’s signed with a fashion company, walked in a Guangzhou fashion show, and he even was a muse for an enormous painting in Guangzhou. Now if that’s not impressive enough, he’s even going to have a movie based on his story! In July, Billionaire Yang Meimei announced that she plans to invest 70 million RMB to produce the movie and Hong Kong model and actor Carl Ng is rumored to play the fashionable homeless man.

It’s not everyday you hear about this stuff happening to a homeless man, let alone one who has better fashion sense than most do! It’s great to see that Xi Li Ge is living a good life and good luck to the movie!
