We’ve already heard the song, and now it is time to see if the music video lives up to these same standards. Today with new Korean girl group Bella, it is time to review their debut PV Don’t Let Go.

Now this is a remake from En Vogue’s original song, Don’t Let Go. And this being Bella’s debut music video, rather than focusing on the flashy and creative storylines and imagery, it is only natural to focus their first video on showing off their talent and flair. This way it is better for us to form an opinion on the group itself.

Their powerful voices already impressed me very much, and with this being a slower song the video went very well with it. Showing a very elegant and soul side to them. But I feel they didn’t leave any room for them to break away from the original song, I watched this video before the original itself, but I still felt an overwhelming essence of an American 90’s music video, which there is nothing wrong with though.

I really like the main focus of the clips when it would show them all singing, it matched perfectly and it was beautiful, but flipping to the “action” clips, there wasn’t anything going on, and it was so slow that it almost felt as if there was a random slide-show thrown into a video, which I have always hated the mix of the two. With the original, being that it served as a soundtrack to a movie, the clips from the movie were thrown in there, showing the relationship they were singing about in the song, which Bella’s had no relationship attachment.

In my opinion they should have kept it to them dancing and singing, without the prolonged outside clips. And overall I would rate this video a 3 out of 5, but if it wasn’t a debut video I would have rated lower. But with this I like how the focus is more on the girls.

What did you guys think of their debut music video?
