With the announcement made earlier in the month that SBS would air an hour long special for Big Bang’s comeback, VIPs have been anticipating it a lot. Now on February 27th, as promised, the glorious special has been aired, officially marking their awaited comeback.

Being under YG Entertainment, you know that Big Bang’s return is nothing short of extraordinary. They actually made their comeback through their concert “Big Show 2011” but since not every VIP in the world could go, a SBS special was aired to satisfy the quench for Big Bang for international VIPs.

This wasn’t just a regular special where they performed their newest songs. Besides from performing “Tonight” as well as releasing the music video for it, Big Bang performed their old hits like “Lies” and “Sunset Glow.” Those being two of my favorite songs from them, talk about a blast from the past! Also, the one thing I’ve been waiting to watch was their parody of “Secret Garden” and boy was I satisfied with the result!

Honestly I think I died when I saw G-Dragon as Gil Ra Im. Never knew he was that gorgeous! On a side note, Tumblr was down for a good half an hour. My guess is that it couldn’t handle the epic-ness of Big Bang’s return. Also on Twitter, #bigbangshow is now trending!
