With Beast’s Japanese version of Shock just released not long ago, it has been announced that popular boyband will be holding not one, but two expo concerts for 40,000 fans in Japan! Beast will also be playing their music video on the streets of five major cities. The two expo concerts are to be held at the Tokyo Big Sight and at the Dojima River Forum in Osaka.
Since Beast has already held a successful showcase last November, before their Japanese debut, it is expected that they will have even more success this time around. (They had managed to sell out 10,000 tickets within 10 minutes last November.)
On February 26th, Japan’s Nikkan Sports reported, “The Korean beasts will be landing in Japan. All of the members are known for their exceptional vocal and dancing talents, and the group itself has managed to leap into the ranks of other top artists with their talent. One industry representative revealed that their popularity had the ‘possibility to overtake TVXQ and Big Bang.’ B2ST will become the eye of the storm in K-pop this year.”
Beast’s album “Shock” will be available on March 16th. All their versions of the album have also managed to rank in the Top 10 of the preorder chart for Tower Record.
How excited are you? Do you think they’ll surpass TVXQ & Big Bang in Japan?
