We’ve already heard the song, and now it is time to see if the music video lives up to these same standards. Today with Big Bang’s comeback finally here, it is time to watch them shine in their newest music video, Tonight.

We have certainly been waiting a long time for this moment, and I must say that I am not one bit disappointed! There was definitely a lot of effort and thought put into this, the only thing I was a little surprised about is that it opened up in broad daylight, rather than in the moonlight. I understand that is one of their main settings, but I was just surprised it opened up with that, just because of the lyrics.

But what a perfect setting it is! It has always been a desire of mine to film in an abandoned amusement park, everything about the look is spectacular. It would have been cool to see both night and morning shots there, just kind of flashing back and forth, while still keeping the other settings, but you know, that’s just my opinion.

Big Bang has definitely had several roof shots in their past music videos, but never in Los Angeles! The lights look incredible, but as amazing as the scenery is, it still doesn’t take away from Big Bang, the wardrobe choice was a really brilliant move for that, especially T.O.P’s stand-out gold jacket, he out shinned the lights!

And the scene on the ocean I believe was the perfect way to wrap it up. Okay, I will admit, maybe there was one thing that disappointed me about this video. There was barely any Daesung time! We’ve seen him the least out of all the members lately, and I was hoping to see more of him in the video. But other than that I was impressed, like always, with their talent and music video style. Going back and forth between formal attire and their unique style. Big Bang’s got it going on!

I would for sure have to give this music video a rating of 5 out of 5. It is pure gold.
