Despite the surrounding controversy regarding the withdrawal of now, former members, U-Kiss’s Alexander and Kibum, many fans have now turned their attention to NH Media. In attempt to settle the issue, NH Media has officially released a statement regarding the incident.

Since the outbreak of the scandal, NH Media has been receiving much heat. On the 23rd of February, the management agency posted their official apology to the fans, for any troubles caused throughout the duration of this ordeal. They also gave their perspective on the issue explaining why they decided to cancel Kibum’s contract. Furthermore, they have also confirmed that a new member is in the process of joining the group.

The stated,

Hello, this is NH Media,

U-kiss would like to thank everyone from your supports and would like to apologize for the series of articles that were revealed. Also, we would like to give our official notice about the issues.

First, we would like to say sorry. With regards to this issue, Kibum and Alexander withdrawing from the group is indeed true and it is true that U-kiss will have a new member and are currently in practice/rehearsing.

We terminated Kibum’s contract because of his position in the group. Alexander did left the group and his domestic individual activities is currently on talk/ planning about it.

U-kiss will have a new member that would give different image of the group to fans. We strive to develop the group’s image/ or the group’s situation.

Once again, U-kiss would like to thank everyone for showing their concern regarding this matter.

If it has cause you inconvenience, we sincerely apologize.

they apologize!! but that doesn’t change the fact that kibum and xander is leaving ukiss!! i don’t want them to leave!! mad

yeah,.. this fact is really disappointing,.. so sad,. T^T


Don’t understand why NH Media handled this situation like this. Rather than terminating/modifying contracts, why didn’t they work with what they have. If they cared so much, they should have helped Kibum to become the person they wanted him to be in U-KISS. I understand that the idol industry is intense but to let go of a well-known member is not the answer. For Xander, I hope NH Media gives him the same support.  Best of luck to the both of them!

I don’t accept. I mean, they wat they talk about Kibum and Alexander, it’s like they never cared about them in the first place. They’re just trying to make sad excuses and beating around the fact that fans are going to be angry at them and some of the people who were mainly fans of Kibum or Alexander might not listen to U-Kiss anymore. I think that NH Media made a very unwise mistake.

What is that even suppose to mean? What kind of position causes the termination of his contract? He helped promoting U-Kiss, he might not be very good at singing or dancing, but he is really hard working..
Sorry to say that but i really couldn’t just accept their apology like this.


wow some sad cover up maybe? I think they went about this all wrong. Fans would be upset no matter what but with the right publicity this thing would have gone over smoothly. Hopefully both Alexander and Kibum will have great success!

NOT accepted! though i’m not a Ukiss fan, they were really unfair especially to Kibum! i felt really bad for him.


It’s a good thing they apologized >=( But I don’t believe a word they said.
