Rumors have been flying around for quite some time now about Fahrenheit and whether or not they are disbanding soon. This situation stirred up even more when it came time to renew their contract with HIM International Music and Wu Zun did not. Could this be true?

Wu Zun held a fan meeting the other day where he confirmed to fans that he will not be renewing his contract. But don’t jump to conclusions just yet! That doesn’t mean Fahrenheit is calling it quits. The other three are still denying any means for disbanding, and rather than these rumors, I’d rather trust in the group. Aaron Yan has already confirmed recording four new songs. And all four of them have renewed their contract for the spokesmen for Taiwanese Tourism.

Wu Zun has stated that they will still be performing together for the Taiwanese Tourism, as well as several other performances they have planned for the future. The only thing he didn’t answer is whether or not he will partake in their next album, but with all these decisions coming at him, he just needs time to think it over.

Wu Zun has expressed in the past that he wants to spend more time with his father, and help him with his business, since he is getting older he wants to be there to take care of him and support him. When his mother passed away he was so busy with his schedule and by the time he found out she was sick it was too late. And first and foremost Wu Zun wants to be there for his family. So whatever decision he makes, I just hope he chooses for his sake rather than for his friends or fans.

All the members at the moment are kind of going off on their own. Aaron is in the process of making his first solo album, Calvin is continuing with his MTV show, Japanese Korean Music Craze, Jiro is moving forward with his acting career, and Wu Zun is hoping to put out a book soon for charity, but he has officially dropped out of Absolute Boyfriend with Goo Hye Sun and the movie he was also working on. He said in a recent interview,

I originally had a pretty good life, but I also had a sense of accomplishment when living a life where I could take care of myself. At the same time, that satisfaction was cut in half. The half I lost was spending time with my family and my freedom. I actually don’t have much confidence in my acting, most of the force that pushed me was from my fans, so I won’t speak of quitting so easily. I will continue working, but I require a lot of freedom and will only take on jobs I like.

Now of course I would hate to see Fahrenheit lose Wu Zun. I would love for them to be together forever and star in many dramas, they are my favorite band after all. But I would rather them all be happy in the decisions they make and live without regret. They have all got a good head on their shoulders and know what they want, now we’ve got to show them all our support!

Wu Zun finished to say:

It requires sacrifice. I really cherish everything that I learned each day while working. It will be helpful in all the decisions I make in the future. Even if it will be hard, I will face everything with a positive attitude.

No one jump to conclusions now though, this doesn’t mean the end of Fahrenheit. Rather than listening to the rumors going around, lets wait and hear what Fahrenheit has to say next on this matter.

Wu Zun, Fahrenheit, 加油! 加油! 加油!
