A new Ningin feature arrives for you guys with the Idol Look of the Day, where I’ll be paying extra close attention to what your favorite idols are wearing and some tips and links on how to recreate it for yourself.
Today I wanted to highlight an outfit that was worn by Moon Geun Young for Basic House’s Spring/Summer catalog. It’s pretty simple when you first look at it, but the points of interest is that beautiful light aqua belt that was tied around her waist to give her small frame more of a shape. Plus that aqua/light turquoise is going to be everywhere come Spring, which seems to be teasingly hiding right around the corner (come out already!).
The laid-back style of the doodle star shirt dress is also really cute, since it just feels so playful and perfect for a fun day out. Light jewelry with the silver cuff bracelets makes for a subtle addition to finish off the outfit in a nice way.
Get the Look:
This Starry Eyed Dress captures the main detail of the outfit with the adorable, hand-drawn star print. With a bit of a switch on the colors, any plain black belt is fine to tie around (or buckle and loop the end) and then slip a thick, silver bracelet on your wrist. Even though we can’t see what she’s sporting on her feet here, with such an easygoing look, it’s probably best to keep your footwear the same. Maybe some black or blue TOMS or Converse to make sure you’re ready for any adventure.
