Boy group BEAST has not only proved their immense popularity in Korea but in Japan as well. They recently released their debut Japanese album “SHOCK” and it looks like it’s extremely popular! The album has managed to make its way to 2nd place on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
As stated by Oricon Style, “SHOCK” has already sold 29,000 copies in just one week. Besides placing 2nd on the chart, the boys also set a new record for debut album sales in all of Asia! However, their Japanese activities have been put on hold due to the earthquake that occurred on the 12th. BEAST had planned promotions and concerts but it looks like Japanese fans will have to wait a little longer to see them on stage.
Congrats to BEAST on such an achievement! They sure are making leaps and bounds in the music industry!
