MstarTV recently conducted a survey and the question was, ‘Who is the best idol singer of the Republic of Korea?’. Netizens were given a total of ten groups of male idol singers namely, Big Bang, TVXQ, JYJ, SHINee, 2PM, 2AM, B2ST, MBLAQ, Infinite, Teen Top to choose from.

A total of 3642 netizens participated in the survey. Votes were counted and JYJ grabbed the first spot with 1612 votes followed by 2PM with 1459 and TVXQ with 350 votes.

And why isn’t Super Junior on the list? I love all the people on the list, but honestly, singing wise, Super Junior sounds a lot better than some of the other idol groups up there. And the rest of the list in general should be shuffled. Personally, I think MBLAQ and Beast belong above Teen Top and Infinite. But that’s just me.

i agree with JYJ but for the others i would have to shuffle them around.. 2AM shouldn’t be that low! they should be third or something..


I agree with the result of JYJ being the best idol singers but I’m surprised to see 2PM in 2nd and TVXQ in 3rd :O


well...JYJ is first unanimously for me. then...shinee. it surprised me that they were so low. they’re good. also, big bang should be reeeeally high on the list. shoulda beat 2pm in my opinion. o.O interesting this.


So surprised 2AM is so low, SHINee also.
JYJ, TVXQ, SHINee, B2st and 2AM would have to be my top singers in that list. They have amazing singers and are fantastic live.
But how is Suju not on there. >>; Surprised~

YAY JYJ rules!! But why is Teen Top higher than Shinee, B2st, and MBlAQ? Also, didn’t they put Super Junior as a choice? I would put B2st, Shinee, Mblaq and 2am higher than Infinite and Teen Top.

Go JYJ!!! I totally agree with that!! But I think that BIg Bang should be number 2! I’m quite surprise that SuJu isn’t in there. But I do wonder why Infinite and Teen Top higher than BEAST, MBLAQ and 2AM! They should be totally above! 


In terms of vocal..JYJ’s Junsu wins...Then I think Big Bang will place at 2nd..then TVXQ

WHERE IS SUPER JUNIOR!!!!! they should be up on top of that list!!  beast and shinee should be up higher in the list as well.


EXCUSE ME BUT WHERE.IS.SUPER.JUNIOR. no offense but how did rookie groups like infinite and teen top make it on there :( but of course they’re really great! since only a selected few sing in their songs :/
