This time on Sunny Happiness: Xiang Yun Jie works with Fang Yong Yong to try and meet Xiao Nian, and Yun Chao is left to go on his matching-making dinner without him. (Warning: Spoiler Alert!)

Finishing the flashback from the last episode, after signing the abortion papers Yun Jie left, Wang Lan was so angry with him for that, that she filed for a divorce shortly after. But what did she expect would happen? Yun Jie listened in on the three of them having dinner together where he heard Xiao Nian call Si Han uncle, confirming to Yun Jie that he really is his son after all.

The Xiang father sets up a big dinner with the Kong family, mainly as a blind date for Yun Jie, saying that he gave him enough time to find someone on his own and since it didn’t turn out good, his father now wants to set him up with his future wife. But Yun Jie refuses, and after being scolded for being the new VP, Yun Chao is insulted.

Xiang Yun Jie waited outside Fang Yong Yong’s house all night because she was unwilling to believe he was outside wanting to speak with her, in the morning he finally caught her and asked for her help with meeting Xiao Nian. She agreed and the next day while babysitting she snuck him in.

He even went out to by a cartoon t-shirt just to find an interest with an eight-year-old. Yun Jie showing a different side of him, aw, it’s so cute! Meeting Xiao Nian was emotionally for the both of them when Yun Jie explained to him that he didn’t even know he existed and Xiao Nian told him that Wang Lan said he was dead. But yay! They finally got to meet.

Xiao Nian showed him the journal that he wrote in to talk to him every time he would think about him, and how his mom told him that when he died he went into space so he studies really hard so he could become an astronaut. How sweet, but this all comes to an end when Wang Lan comes home to see the two of them!

The two parents talk it out and Wang Lan continually blames Yun Jie for not being apart of his life, uh, hello? He had no choice! He didn’t even know. Everything she blames him for is really her fault in the end, and she refuses to let him meet again with Xiao Nian. The only thing for Yun Jie to do now is get his attorney involved in this matter. If it comes down to a custody battle, I don’t think Wang Lan will have a good case.

Yun Chao meets Ms. Kong before dinner, but she is mistaking him for Yun Jie as he tries to impress her, could he be taken with her already? And Yun Jie has too much on his mind to even announce his absence from the dinner. Things are finally starting to pick up in this drama!
