In an interview with IS Sports, JYJ’s Jaejoong clarified some of the rumors and scandals regarding him and some Japanese celebrities. Regarding Ayumi Hamasaki, he revealed that it was true that they were friends and they actually met during Avex’s annual ‘A-Nation‘ concert and kept in touch ever since.

However, he is not in a relationship that people seem to think. The scandal first broke out last October because Hamasaki attended the JYJ concert despite her heavy schedule, at the same time she also attended the showcase of another Japanese singer friend. Its really suppose to be an upkeep of friendship between musician.

On actress/ model Yamada Yu, Jaejoong revealed that he was really close with her alongside with Yamashita Tomohisa. They met at an after-party in LA and became friends. And like what everyone knows she is already in a relationship with Oguri Shun.

In the end Jaejoong revealed that he doesn’t have a girlfriend and would usually spend his time at home. It was a really great opportunity for him to learn Japanese and meet celebrities and develop great friendship.
