Far East Movement was recently nominated for a Billboard Music Award in ‘Best Rap Song’ category for their hit single, “Like A G6 (ft. Dev & The Cataracs).” The song will be competing against “Airplanes (ft. Hayley Williams)” and “Nothin’ On You (ft. Bruno Mars)” by B.o.B., “Love The Way You Lie (ft. Rihanna)” by Eminem and “Just A Dream” by Nelly.

The members of the group expressed their gratitude and shock on their official website.
“Billboard invited us to Las Vegas yesterday morning as surprise guests to announce the Billboard Music Award Nominations and they surprised us with the news that we were nominated for a Billboard Music Award in the ‘Best Rap Song’ category for our single “Like A G6″ off our Free Wired album… thats crazy… Big thank you to our incredible team and all the fm heads reppin day and night… this is crazy. The awards show will be on May 22nd, 2011.
