Remember how SS501 member Kim Kyujong was rumored to be starring in the upcoming Japanese production of the “Goong” musical? Well, it has recently been confirmed! The production company, Group Eight, announced that Kyujong is going to play the part of Prince Shin.

Kyujong has had two others already play the part of the prince before him, DBSK’s Yunho for the Korean musical, and Joo Jihoon for the KDrama. I have confidence that this SS501 member will do his best, since he’s finally landed a part in a musical, one of his wishes he has expressed before.

The Japanese production will be showing from June 11th to July 1st at the Minamiza Theater in Kyoto, and tickets went on sale April 14th.

Lucky, lucky people who will get to go see Kyujong perform! Well, I’m excited for him all the same. It would be nice if it were filmed and turned into a DVD or something. Are any of you going to be able to see this production?
