SM Entertainment have announced that BoA will be starting filming for Cobu 3D also starring Derek Hough and Cameron Thor this May. SM revealed, “BoA has been preparing herself to ensure smooth filming for the film.” Dancing has been BoA’s priority since February and she has now made the move to Toronto, Canada for the film’s location.

Robert Colt, who also produced “Jumanji”, will be producing the film, along with CJ Entertainment and SM Entertainment as co-producers.

Written by the same writer of “Step Up” and “Save the Last Dance”, “Cobu 3D” details the story of am interracial love between two dancers (Hough and BoA) who both belong to rivalling New York dance groups, but fall in love, similar to Romeo and Juliet style.
