The music industry (actually, pretty much Korea’s entertainment industry and anyone who follows the industry) was shocked when news broke out about famous Korean legend Seo Taiji and Lee Ji Ah and how they were going through a lawsuit. What’s even more shocking is that Lee Ji Ah was in a relationship with Jung Woo Sun at the time news of the lawsuit broke out.

Now, Lee Ji Ah has apologized to Jung Woo Sung for not telling him much about her past and keeping silent about this until recently. She is also sorry for dragging him into this entire ordeal and for hurting him with this.

A representative for Jung Woo Sung said that the actor stated “[he] still loves Lee Ji Ah. He still believes in her and is waiting for her to come back, but he is still going through his own obstacles right now. Rumors that claim the couple have broken up due to this are not true.”

The actor, who canceled his own birthday party in light of these events, will celebrate his birthday over soju with his CEO.

I feel bad for Jung Woo Sung and I don’t blame Lee Ji Ah for keeping it secret. After all, Seo Taiji is pretty famous and it’s probably hard enough trying to avoid the paparazzi. But I hope Jung Woo Sung doesn’t become too depressed and drink a lot.
