Wow, I can’t even count that high. On April 18th, Korean actor Kim Bum created his own Facebook page. According to his agency, King Kong Entertainment, by April 28th, Kim Bum’s page had gained over 2.5 million fans since it was created. This includes fans from all over the world: Indonesia, Mexico, Singapore, the United States, France, and 20 other countries!

Within the short span of 10 days, this idol has taken 5th place in the top ranking pages on Facebook, putting him in league with Jackie Chan, Ashton Kutcher, Lee Minho, and Taraji P. Henson (In order, 1st place through 4th).

Most of you probably know Kim Bum best from his role in KDrama “Boys Over Flowers” as character So Yi Yeong. The actor said, “I opened my official Facebook account in order to stay in touch with my fans worldwide. I will update the account with fun and recent news about myself.”

An official from King Kong Entertainment said, “”We were amazed to see that Kim has attracted over two million friends on Facebook in just few days after it was created. We feel that his popularity has increased after he promoted his dramas ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and ‘Still, Marry Me.’”

I am genuinely surprised that when I visited Kim Bum’s official fanpage on Facebook, I was already a fan of his! Shows how often I “like” pages to the point I don’t even remember what I’ve clicked on anymore.

When I last checked, his fan count on Facebook stood at: 2,598,402. He even has a page where he posted a video of him saying hello to everyone and invites you to greet him back! Have you become a fan of his yet?
