Have you ever heard of the term “aegyo”? For those who are unaware, “aegyo” is a Korean word that represents a cute, innocent, and yet vivacious charm. If you have been into the KPOP craze for a while, this term should be something you are familiar with. “Aegyo” can either be endearing with moderation but in many cases it could be a controversial thing where it calls upon a punch like many people would describe it.

Aegyo is quite debatable, it can be quite charming but it really depends on the individual. With this said, usually “aegyo” is common with females and something undesirable for men to attempt. As society develops, it is getting more acceptable for men to participate in the arts of aegyo. Although their talent is often underrated and hidden from the public’s eye, I don’t think it is a trait that should be condemned in any way. Likewise, I shall now bring this issue alight upon my own burden with a compilation of the top 10 male idols who I think have extreme aegyo skills.

Beast’s Yoseob
The king of aeygo and the life to Beast! This boy just knows how to win the hearts of girls with his innocent and quirky personality. He has the facial features of a kitten and with his flawless complexion he makes a total sweetheart! By looking at him, it just makes you want to go ngaw!!

Super Junior’s Sungmin
This boy was born with the face of an aeygo idol and I must say although at times he fails at ‘cute-tifying’ the situation, he is undoubtedly one of the idols that can just steal anyone’s heart away.

SHINee’s Taemin
His the maknae of SHINee and he definitely lives up to his title, not only is he sly but he has a great amount of humor making him the greatest compromise of the arts of aeygo.

SHINee’s Minho
Although he has been portrayed as a mature and self assured character, Minho has an underlying unexpected cute personality. I never really understood, “Never judge a book by it’s cover” until now. (I died when he bit his finger)

Mir is the iconic aegyo symbol of his group and by being in a group full of sophistication and sexiness, Mir brings that illuminating light to his band. However, his type of aeygo falls into a unique category which comes hand in hand with hilarity!

JYJ’s Junsu
I fell in love with him instantly when I stumble upon one of his videos where he exemplified his aeygo. Every time he smiled he swept my heart away let alone when he gave off some aeygo. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a decent aeygo video of him but this video must do for the time being.

You are probably thinking why such a charismatic and beastly character is on this list but the reality is, Nichkhun is sweeter than what it seems. He has learn well from his virtual wife.

FT Island’s Hong Ki
Majority of the times, Hong Ki may be a weird character but you can’t deny his overflowing cuteness. His portrayal of Jeremy in You’re Beautiful just swoops your heart over!

Although he always puts the brave face in front of his fans, in reality his the vulnerable one in Big Bang. Watch from 2:00 and onwards as Daesung sucks up to his favorite hyung, TOP.

This boy is a triple threat not only is he a fashionista, but he has the looks and the personality. This one of heck talented boy is so manipulative with his looks he literally has the ability to make every girl kiss his footsteps!
