This time on Channel X: Zhuo Yi An stops the party, An Zai Yong learns the truth, and Chen Jia Lin returns to being everyone’s enemy. (Warning: Spoiler Alert!)

Chen Jia Lin takes Xiao Lu out to get her makeup done, and a pretty dress to look perfect for her party. Because he knows that An Zai Yong is going to propose to her.

Zhuo Yi An finds out that the interview in Kyoto isn’t until a week later, she realizes the director is trying to keep her from going to the party to spoil his daughter’s time.

An Zai Yong proposed and just as he was about to put the ring on her finger, of course Yi An bursts through the doors saying that Xiao Lu is Chen Jia Lin’s daughter. Aiyo! An Zai Yong dropped the ring and yelled at Xiao Lu, believing their whole relationship was a lie now. How sad. So stressful, Kong Yuan Qing really didn’t do a good job of keeping her at the airport. An Zai Yong left Xiao Lu standing up their crying.

Xiao Lu waited all night for him to come home, but he never showed. In the morning she left the house key on the table along with a note apologizing for keeping him in the dark, and that she loves him. He goes looking for her to apologize for his reaction, and they meet up Channel X where he proposes again, this time it’s successful. Aw.

Chen Jia Lin calls Zhuo Yi An in to fire her, giving her a huge check to compensate for not fulfilling his promise to her, she tore it right up in his face and walked out the door. While saying goodbye to Kong Yuan Qing she heard a worker shouting about stuff for the Phase I project, she senses something’s up.
Darn, I was hoping she’d just leave already.

Xiao Lu goes to speak with her dad to see if the rumors are true, a pipe couldn’t take the LOD and they burst, that is why the poison is spreading everywhere, and the villagers are in the hospital. He takes her to the hospital, because he too wants to see what’s up. Yeah right.

Qing E Sao’s daughter finally appears, crying outside the hospital room, she is in ER and in serious condition. Yi An is still in the picture and investigating at Wanbin Village, everyone knows how naive Xiao Lu and tries to get a hold of her to convince her of her father’s true intentions. When they get a call from a villager saying Qing E Sao has died!

Now it’s on, An Zai Yong goes to report the truth about Chen Jia Lin, right as Xiao Lu was going to show him that it wasn’t true, but she had the wrong information. She now doesn’t know who is telling the truth. Chen Jia Lin is even trying to decided if he should choose his daughter’s trust over profit. I’m surprised, maybe his caring really was genuine, started with evil intentions, but if he is even considering choosing her over the Samothrace project, he can’t be entirely evil. I’m sure his brother will have something to say about this.
