Rumors spread among the cyber world a while back about 5doll’s Soomi being cast into a drama. No one knew what it was until today. Turns out she was cast into the MBC drama, Miss Ripley as Jo Eunbum! She will be playing a vain and jealous hotel employee who has a baseless confidence. The first episode of “Miss Ripley” starts today and includes a wide variety of big name actors and actors from the same company as Soomi.

They updated their site today with the cast list and Soomi’s name was there. The bad thing about this was that they used a picture of the wrong girl group member. Instead of Soomi’s picture on the cast list, we saw Seeya’s Boram instead. It’s a rocky start for Soomi but I’m sure she’ll pick things right back up and become so famous that no one would ever mistake her again. Fighting!

If you didn’t notice Soomi’s disappearence from the rest of her members in The Greatest Love, it’s because Soomi had no time to appear in both dramas even though all of the members were cast.
