VIPs, get ready to hold on to your chairs for this one. It has just been reported that Big Bang’s Daesung has been involved in a car accident. This is not some hit and run but rather a hit. Daesung is currently undergoing investigation for his actions at the Youngdong Police station.

Around 1:40 AM on May 31st (Korea Time), Daesung was driving his Audi on the road when he crashed into a motorcyclist. Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced to have died at the scene. It is possible that this accident was caused by drunk driving but nothing is for sure yet. Details have yet to be released to the public.

My condolences go out to the victim and his family. As much as I hate to say it but if it was Daesung’s fault, then he needs to accept the proper punishment, disregarding the fact that he is a famous star. We can only wait until further details have been released.

UPDATE: Details have been released and it was revealed that Daesung was not drunk at the time nor did he hit the motorcyclist. Actually, Daesung crashed into a taxi and the motorcyclist was already unconscious on the road. He was hit from another hit-and-run and the taxi driver stepped out to help him. The impact from Daesung’s crash into the taxi unfortunately killed the motorcyclist.

My condolences go out to the motorcyclist and his family.
I hope that Daesung stays strong~ I know he will still feel guilty over the accident, but I really hope his career won’t end as a result of it~

Whatever happened, was it because of road or lose of control over car, or anything else, Daesung still will bear the weigh of guilt… hopefully it won’t end Daesung’s career, since he is very talented.. and other drivers will learn to be more careful..

Police are currently investigating an accident that happened early this morning involving Daesung from Big Bang.Daesung was driving his car at 1:40 am in the morning at the southern extremity of the Seoul Yanghwa Bridge andwhile going downhill, at the end he crashed directly into a taxi from behind. Fortunately the taxi driver did not suffer any major injuries.

Daesung’s agency, YG Entertainment, revealed that Daesung was driving on the first lane while the taxi was driving in front of him. The taxi drvier then changed to the second lanesuddenly and back to the first lane and suddenly stopped causing the collision.

As soon as Daesung got out of the car hewalked towards the taxi driver and asked, “Are you okay?”. The taxi driver replied, “Right now I’m not the problem, there is a motorcycle driver already collapsed on the floor bleeding so I switched to the second lane to avoid hitting him but then I moved back to call for emergency.” said the the taxi driver.

Daesung and the taxi driver are currently being investigated.

Ningin, you fail. I’ve been freaking out about this for four hours after finding out on Tumblr. And it’s not confirmed if it was Daesung hitting the taxi that killed the motorcyclist. E’erybody hold yo’ tits.

I know this isnt a time for jokes, but i had a thought when i read this. Well only because i was listening to snsds RDR. Poor Dae though… .T^T So........ what do you guys think of SNSD’s Mr. Taxi now? “Mr. Taxi, taxi, taxi, I’m going faster, faster, faster, at this speed can you even follow me?” I THINK NOT! (still a good song imo though :X)


Actually as far as I know (unless the info was released recently), the motorcyclist hasn’t been confirmed dead.

Prayers out to his family though, and hopefully the identity of the original hit-and-run problem is found. :/

Condolences go out the the motorcyclist and their family… and I really hope Daesung’s guilt doesn’t destroy him. If it really was an accident and not through neglect… unfortunately these things do happen.
