VIPs, get ready to hold on to your chairs for this one. It has just been reported that Big Bang’s Daesung has been involved in a car accident. This is not some hit and run but rather a hit. Daesung is currently undergoing investigation for his actions at the Youngdong Police station.
Around 1:40 AM on May 31st (Korea Time), Daesung was driving his Audi on the road when he crashed into a motorcyclist. Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced to have died at the scene. It is possible that this accident was caused by drunk driving but nothing is for sure yet. Details have yet to be released to the public.
My condolences go out to the victim and his family. As much as I hate to say it but if it was Daesung’s fault, then he needs to accept the proper punishment, disregarding the fact that he is a famous star. We can only wait until further details have been released.
UPDATE: Details have been released and it was revealed that Daesung was not drunk at the time nor did he hit the motorcyclist. Actually, Daesung crashed into a taxi and the motorcyclist was already unconscious on the road. He was hit from another hit-and-run and the taxi driver stepped out to help him. The impact from Daesung’s crash into the taxi unfortunately killed the motorcyclist.
