Channel X Ep. 19: Final Highlights and Thoughts

Lets get to it, final highlights and thoughts of Channel X. I know you are all eager to find out what happens next! (Warning: Spoiler Alert!)

After An Zai Yong’s broadcast prosecutors came to arrest Chen Jia Lin! Xiao Lu went looking for them both and stumbled across her father’s empty office. The safe was left open where she discovered the Samothrace plans. Chen Jia Liang rushed in to see what she was hiding, and told her that he knows she’s only acting alongside An Zai Yong. No, she’s just naive wanting both sides to win.

Later the two brothers were talking about the LOD, but Xiao Lu overheard everything. She questioned her dad on it where he admitted to everything! Even how he got close to her with a motive, but ended up learning how great their father daughter relationship really is, and that IPIC will go bankrupt if he does not produce LOD. Jia Liang overhearing this conversation orders someone to take An out.

An gets a letter from Zheng Jing Lun, who supposedly is back and wants to thank him for bringing Jia Lin down, and he has more evidence to make it happen but he has to meet him alone. ALONE, okay, that’s not good. But Zhuo Yi An tells Xiao Lu that Jing Lun wants to meet with both of them, originally as a plot to have her father see her meeting with his enemy, but it turned out to be the killer with the bar-code birthmark! He’s return, and attacking An Zai Yong, Xiao Lu stepped in to save him, but ended up falling out the balcony window. This scene will look familiar to all of you. It’s the very beginning of the series. Xiao Lu falling, An Zai Yong fleeing the scene being accused of the murder. Where he tells the camera that he became a murderer but the audience is an accessory to the murder. My goodness.

It turns out Jia Lin DID send the murderer after him, it wasn’t just his brother being hasty again. He ordered everyone to make An Zai Yong appear as the murderer. Xiao Lu is now in the hospital, but no news has gotten out whether she is alive or not, because they want An to get caught. Visiting her she scolded her father, where he blamed this all on his brother. She told him that An should have the Samothrace book now, and he orders his brother to get a hold of him before the police do.

An and Jia Lin scheduled a meeting where he would give him the red book back if he told him if Xiao Lu was alive or not. But after the exchange police would be ready to arrest An Zai Yong. But once meeting there An had a hidden camera going in the tip of his pen recording Chen Jia Lin’s confession to producing the LOD, he admitted to everything! It was immediately broadcast for everyone to see.

Xiao Lu is in lock down, Zhuo Yi An feels guilty for telling her to show up at that place and nearly getting her killed, to make up for it she disguises herself as a nurse and goes to help her escape, good they needed to end her character off nice after how evil they made her. Chen Jia Liang went in to stop them, when the police suddenly came in! Xiao Lu confirmed to them that she was alive and Jia Liang held her under arrest, and they arrested him! Yes. Finally busted.

The police now showing up for An Zai Yong, or so they think. An tells Chen Jia Lin to look more closely to the detail in the red book he returned, it’s a fake! The police came for Chen Jia Lin. Woohoo! He tried to pretend that An was fabricating the truth and framing him, but he can’t argue when Xiao Lu comes to the scene- with the red book. Yet he still digs for a way out by threatening his daughter, but she turns the tables on him and he is arrested. Walking away he says it doesn’t even matter if he has a daughter anymore because he will either die or be in jail for the rest of his life, but he walks away thinking that she can now live a happy life with An Zai Yong without all this family issue. I’m surprised they ended his character with showing his caring side. Wow. It really wasn’t all an act?

An Zai Yong and Xiao Lu on the beach together, he puts the ring on her finger for a third time where she agrees for a THIRD time to marry him, and then the series ends off. This drama was amazing! Intense even to the last episode.
