The most recent broadcast of MBC’s “Good Day” featured behind-the-scene footages of the “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS” concert held on June 10th-11th at Le Zenith de Paris. Viewers were able to watch as SM Entertainment artists got ready for the concert. A clip was shown of Super Junior members Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk observing SNSD’s performance. Over the past decade, autotune has made its way into music from different parts of the word. It was first made famous through American artist T-Pain, who is known to have built a million-dollar career through his autotuned music. Without this vocal-disguising system, we can say without a doubt that T-Pain is not a great singer. For this reason, autotune is often looked down upon because it allows less talented people to “cheat” their way to fame and riches. In addition, it also deprives music of its organic and earthy qualities and makes it sound robotic and “fake.” However, when the right amount of autotune is used, it can actually add onto the overall quality of the song and make it sound catchy, as exemplified by the 10 songs below. The newly awaited drama Heartstrings features Jung Yonghwa, Park Shin Hye and others such as Kang Minhyuk. The drama is based in an art university and shows the lives of the teens who will do anything to fulfill their dreams. Most of the cast are actually from FNC Entertainment (Yonghwa, Minhyuk and the other Stupid band members) so of course there is a high standard for the musical talent in this drama already.
