With the many delays and failure to secure an airing schedule, maritime drama ‘Poseidon‘ has stopped its production altogether. ‘Poseidon’ was scheduled to air in May 2011 and boasted an all star line-up that included Eric Mun(Shinhwa), Kim Kang Woo, Kim Ok Bin, U-Know Yunho(TVXQ) and Jeon Hae Bin, but the numerous setbacks such as the bad weather and inability to secure an airtime led many actors to resign from their roles.

In a phone conversation with NoCut News on the 1st, Eric’s entertainment agency stated, “We have come to an agreement with the production company to withdraw Eric from his role in ‘Poseidon’. Since filming 20% of the first episode in December, we have been waiting for filming to resume, but as the situation became uncertain, we have decided to withdraw Eric from the production. We then decided to have him appear in the drama ‘Spy MyeongWol’.

A representative of H20, the production company of ‘Poseidon’, replied, “Production has been suspended completely,” and hastily hung up.

Although the production company had promised to resume filming in May with new cast members, Eric’s decision to resign from his leading role has led the production crew to terminate the drama early.

poor Yunho..first drama participation doesn’t go smoothly
think it’s pretty hard to film the scenes for Poseidon
as it involves the marines
