Korean idols who look good with blonde hair often receive high interest from netizens as the hair color blonde is difficult to pull off on Asians since many believe it looks “unnatural”. Besides blonde hair, a number of Korean idols have also taken the risk to dye their hair a bold red color. Although red hair can be just as difficult to pull off as blonde hair, idols who have changed their hair color to red don’t receive as much interest as those who transform into a blonde head. Therefore, I’ve decided to give recognition to 10 Korean idols who I believe look the most attractive with red hair.

10. 2PM’s Junho
The star recently changed his hair color to red for 2PM’s latest album, “Hands Up,” and Hottests have been going crazy over it.

9. Sistar’s Bora
Not everyone can pull off a red this vibrant but Bora looks gorgeous with it.

8. 4Minute’s Hyuna
Really, what hair color doesn’t Hyuna look good in?

7. Wonder Girls’ Yubin
Her red hair surprised fans at first but now fans and even non-fans love it.

6. Super Junior’s Eunhyuk
Eunhyuk’s red hair gave him a complete transformation from cute to sexy and fierce.

5. Wonder Girls’ Ye Eun
She makes the red hair look natural on her! I’m jealous.

4. Super Junior’s Donghae
Okay, this may be photoshopped but the man looked so good, I had to put him on the list!

3. SNSD’s Taeyeon
Although red hair is suppose to give you a more mature look, SNSD’s Taeyeon still manages to look cute and youthful!

2. SHINee’s Taemin
The maknae of SHINee traded in his “cute” image for a more mature look when he changed his hairstyle and hair color for SHINee’s Japanese debut MV. The young singer has been receiving endless praises for his new mature look.

1. 2NE1’s Park Bom
When you think of KPOP idols with red hair, the name “Park Bom” should automatically come to mind. Besides her talented vocals, Park Bom is also known for being able to rock bold red hair.

Honorary mentions: Big Bang’s G-Dragon, and Brown Eyed Girls‘ GaIn.

Hyuna, Eunhyukkie and Donghae all look super nice with red hair.

But my favorite is Taeminnie oppa! ♥ I was really surprised when his hair changed, made him look more mature, and the red suited him very well. I’m surprised that he got rid of it so fast, he’s blonde again. Although i do miss his fluffy mushroom days…

YYYYEAAAAHHH!!!! PARK BOMMMIEE~!!!!! <33333 And Donghae!!! Oh ma gawddd!! lol


As I scrolled down, I felt more and more excited to see a G-Dragon picture in first place. When I saw Bom, a part of me felt hurt. Bom is really, really pretty with red hair… But I felt that G-Dragon can honestly pull it off the best. I’m disappointed, but I guess honarary mentions will have to do.

I like HyunA with red hair, but then again I like others. Bom’s picture there didn’t really look like she’s great with red hair. The fashion king, G-Dragon is my favorite! ^^ I prefer Taemin with his golden mushroom hair<3 But I really loved Eunhyuk’s & especially Donghae’s red hair, even though Donghae’s was photoshopped I would love if he did that for Super Junior’s 5th album concept, then again it wouldn’t fit, but he & Eunhyuk would look so hot.<3
