KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Song 2″ is set to have some major changes in the end of July resulting in SISTAR’s Hyorin to be the only original cast member to continue on in the show.
On June 28th, a representative from the show made it official by saying, “We are planning on making new changes to the idol singer line-up in July.”
Immortal Song 2’s current line-up consists of SISTAR’s Hyorin, 2AM’s Changmin, 2PM’s Junsu, F.T Island’s Hong Ki, MBLAQ’s G.O, and SECRET’s Ji Eun. This batch of idols will have their last recording on July 4th.
Their are no set replacements but rumors are circulating that Super Junior’s Kyuhyun is a possibility.
“There are a lot of idol singers who have excellent singing talent. We will continue to expose these hidden ‘Luxury Idols’ to the viewers,” said the representative.”
The show has gone through a number of today’s talented vocal idols so I wonder who the replacements could be. I hope some of the rookie vocalists get a chance to shine as well as some of the older artists.
