After creating a craze with her solo debut song “Change“, 4minute’s Hyuna will be making her comeback as a solo singer next month. The mini-album will drop on July 5th and she will be promoting the title track, “Bubble Pop!“. Teaser photos were already released and we got to see a sporty side of Hyuna and also her sexy tattoo on the back of her shoulder.

Although this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Hyuna’s tattoo, we haven’t really learned the meaning behind it. It reads, “My mother is the heart that keeps me alive.” with stars around it. What some fans don’t know is that Hyuna actually got inked a few years ago, but she did a good job hiding it.

A Cube representative revealed that the tattoo is dedicated to Hyuna’s mother and “because of her activities, Hyuna has been away from her family for a long time. She thinks of them a lot. Her love for her mother is particularly deep.”

Regarding her mini-album, they said, “Hyuna’s album concept is not about being sexy. This time the concept will give off a sporty feeling.”

Personally, I’m not a big fan of tattoos, but I’m not completely against them. The only ones I’m against are the ones that have no meaning or sentimental value to it.
